Funny, I didn't see EG say anything about the FBS playoff system being better.

I inferred from his statement that the FCS system was "a freaking joke" and then saying we need to move FBS, that if his complaint is the play-off structure and his solution is a move up he must see that as a better. I might be wrong.

Maybe Fahque needs to learn how to infer, and think--and to be less of a ____.

Often times inferring is all too much like assuming and, well you know...

I agree that the FBS playoff system is every bit of a joke as the FCS playoff system. Eventually both systems are going to have to evolve in order to give the best teams an opportunity to participate and without setting up a joke of a bracket like we have this year.

Don't think inferring is assuming. There's logic in inferring. FCS playoffs/system is not a joke. It's pretty close to awesome, but not perfect, in my view. The champion will come from the top 8 seeds virtually everything time. The first round games were fun, but they don't determine the champion. Do you even pay attention to the playoffs? Jeez.

I actually do and I guess I should've been more specific. Since the playoffs expanded, the first round and regionalization, especially this year, has been far from ideal. The rest is awesome.

We either need to move FBS, or break out of the FCS and create another division. One whose teams can afford more than taking a couple school busses to playoff games.

No, I said it was dying. And it is.

As for the difference in the playoffs, I'll simply say this: I have serious reservations that the Fbs selection committee is concerned about finding a regional matchup for Clemson so Frank, Ed and Pete can drive the team school busses to the playoff game.

So FCS officials say that they try to "break even" on the playoffs; and that brings up the question of the sealed bidding process. For instance, curious to know what the sealed bid was for us to host the first game----don't recall that it was announced. Does anyone have a good guess what the amount is? Let's see $35 tickets times 20,000 attendance provides a gate of $700,000. Broadcast rights on top of that.

Have always heard that UM doesn't make much on the playoffs. So who does?
