Hey, thanks!! Great suggestion. I checked YouTube and found a copy of Katie's (Savanah's mom) video she shot on her iPhone 7. There are large periods where all I see is grass while I hear Katie discuss TRX training with Sara (Paige's mom) and forgets to raise the damn phone. But she catches most of the goals so....

A win is a win. Very proud of the girls. The fact of the matter is that we beat a Rainbow Narwhals team that was ravaged by injuries. Half of their 5 year olds were out due to a pink eye epidemic at Gwyneth Paltrow Elementary. Their leading scorer, Sophia Fernando wasn't allowed to suit up for disciplinary reasons. Apparently she pulled her little sister's hair Thursday night after a dispute over a Baby Alive Sweet Tears Baby Doll. In her defense, she apparently missed nap time that day due to a medical appointment. I credit her parents for following thru on consequences.
Despite what Coach CDA says, we haven't beaten a good team all year. The OC U6 teams we've beaten have a combined record of 7-28. This of course is not Coach CDA's fault but he sure seems to be taking a lot of credit for a lot of wins over weak teams. Our real challenges are ahead of us in the next few weeks.
I should also remind folks that we will be playing shorthanded without goalie Isabella Watson for the next couple weeks due to her family's vacation plans to Tibet. Rumors are swirling that this trip may be a facade and she is actually being sent to a Fat Farm in Arizona by her obsessive compulsive mother, Britney.
I wholeheartedly support Coach CDA for his reluctance to expand recruiting to the 405. The Orange County U6 was established by the citizens of Huntington Beach and Newport Beach. I'm not in favor of bastardizing the league and recruiting shitholes like Fountain Valley just for the sake of talent. The OC U6 has a long proud tradition of exclusion and i see no reason to change that now.

And another thing, i brought this up to the U6 Board and Coach CDA repeatedly. why do they continue to over water field 9? The goddamn field doesn't drain worth a shit. I spend hours trying to get the grass stains out of my daughter's tights. I've thrown away 2 pairs already. When I tell Coach CDA about it all he says is, "I'll look into it."
