Be happy with what you've gotten. Take care of your own business, beat SDSU (if you're not looking past them), and go back to your NAU board with all three of your posters.

Oh, and be grateful that there are 24 teams in the brackets, or you wouldn't be in the playoffs at all.

I understand. It's frustrating though this stuff happens.
Several years ago Montana beat Idaho in the regular season. Apx. two weeks later Idaho was given the right to host the rematch in Moscow as a first round playoff game.

If you don't believe that the success that a program like Montana has had for 30 years in the playoffs doesn't play a small part in the selection, you need to put the glue down. That aside, UM earned the seed based on this year's results.
 
I'll say it again, the Montana Grizzlies didn't disrespect Northern Arizona or anyone else. This thread is STUPID. Those of you who feel slighted by the Griz' seed, or NAU's lack of a seed, need to go cry to the NCAA. Who knows, send an anonymous email like the ones that prompted the NCAA Investigation at Montana. It worked then. Maybe you'll get the NCAA to re-do the brackets before teams need to travel on Thursday. :lol:

Like it or not, lifetime achievement DOES have something to do with it (especially when that means 20,000+ butts in the seats).
 
At least it was pure disrespect. If you've ever had disrespect all stirred up with artificial sweetener and preservatives, then you know how much better pure disrespect is.
 
Papa G has been going insane over the Griz' seeding for like 30 straight hours over on BN. He and a few others makes it sound as if the Griz should have turned the seed down or at least, should be apologizing for it.

The RBs coach for NAU isn't mad about the seeding. He thought it was a toss up and he said he is glad they don't have to play NDSU in the quarters.

Although, I must say all the bitching and complaining is making it harder: The University of Montana (and its fans) had absolutely no one in the room when the committee made its decisions. (Or perhaps I'm wrong, and the Big Sky rep -- from PSU, as I recall -- was a secret UM troll. :o )

Personally, I want both BSC teams to absolutely dominate their playoff opponents in the first rounds.

The only thing the Griz should apologize for are the two fumble 6s against NAU that allows them and their fan base to actually believe they are a top 10 team.

You NAU fans are right on...you should have gotten the seed. UM pulls a lot of bullshit because of their history. The only team they beat with a winning record was MSU, when MSU was totally falling apart. They barely squeaked by sub .500 teams all season long. If it makes you feel better, the griz are going to be utterly dominated and embarrassed IF they make it to the NDSU game. Take comfort in knowing that the selection committee f#cked you, and that you raped the griz this year...on their own field...
