PSU vs NAU

I’m not sure how to describe it, there were times I’d go there to compete and would be sucking wind the entire time, other times I’d hardly notice. Some, certainly is mental, however, I’m sure travel and getting good acclimation and rest while there helps a ton.

Spot on. It's something that can't be controlled, so show up ready and rested. Know it's a disadvantage, but probably around the 3-5% area.

Only speaking from personal experience, but I think the response to elevation is very individual. I live in Seattle, but the past several summers, and I’ve gone over to run 50 miles(ish) across the Bob with some others (yes, we do it in one day). First time, I thought it wouldn’t affect me because I was in 3hr marathon shape. I was sadly mistaken.
I’ve learned that, for myself, there are two options: arrive a few days before to acclimate, or show up the night before and know it will suck, but it won’t be too horrible.
But I know some people who can go sea level to 8,000 like nothing.
My guess is young people have it a bit easier, but that it’s still highly individual.

Wow ISU is bad. Down 28-7 halfway through 2nd Q

You looks really stupid right now.

Lol, ISU putting on a comeback of the century doesn’t make me look anything. ISU is not good, just because they may beat EWU and they played a terrible gris team close does not make them good.

You want me to admit Idaho state isn’t bad? Is that what you’re looking for? Will that give you the warm and fuzzy about this terrible gris team?

I’m tickled you’re so butt hurt defending ISU. Just because your middle tier team plays the bottom of the barrel close doesn’t make them better.

Agreed, but elevation doesn't affect my style much. A lot of anaerobic bursts. Endurance need not apply, but ill grind a cyclist down. Gotta a lot of wattage per pound.

True, very different engines applied.
