No I'm not. I wasn't happy about any aspect of this game, except the result. That said, PSU was leading the Big Sky in offense coming into this game. I'll take the win, and the 8-0 Conference record and outright title.

You should be happy about the officials calling that completely bullshit offensive pass interference call that took 6 points off the board and made it possible for EWU to come back from only 7 instead of 14. At least we don't have to listen to EWU fans complain about BSC officials when they play in Missoula anymore since that one took the cake for gifts.

I agree it was a BS call, but with the way that game was going back and forth, it's doubtful that it was THE determining factor in the outcome of the game. PSU had plenty of chances. And please don't bitch about bad calls - even in Montanan's best years they were the gracious beneficiaries of many bad calls in many very close games. It is what it is.

Anyway, yes. Good luck in the selection show tomorrow. It looks like SHSU will most likely get left out of the playoffs, so that's good news for the Big Sky.

Who knows how the game would have turned out, but that was a big one. Can't say it won or lost the game the way things went down the stretch. And for sure the Griz have benefited from some bad calls before, no doubt - however, so has every other team that plays football, but Eagle fans always talk like the Griz are the only ones that get those backbreaking calls, so I thought I would point it out. :thumb:

Dude welcome to fandom. Who in the hell cares what your rivals think of your team? Enjoy winning a conference championship. As for the playoffs, only one team ends the season on a winning note. What do most of EWU fans think of your chances in the playoffs? EWU has a great offense. Defense is inconsistent at best this season. Some just feel eventually those jump balls Adam's throws up for grabs will cost EWU against a good playoff team.

Seriously, does it really matter what any fanbase thinks of your team? For the sake of the conference, I hope EWU, NAU, and UM all get to the elite 8, and one survives to Frisco. With your kind of tirade, read your own post to figure out why some egrizzers don't root for EWU. Hint, it has nothing to do with the team.

EWU offense is amazing. VA is amazing, but here's what really frightens me about EWU for the rest of this season, and beyond. I do NOT BELIEVE that the quality of defensive backs that play FCS football on an every day basis are quality enough to run with EWU's receivers. They are on an entirely different playing field right now. Yes, ocassionally, an FCS team has a shut down guy like a Tru Johnson, the Williams dude at NDSU or an FBS drop down, ect, but in one-on-one coverage, it is a terrible mismatch for FCS-level corners against EWU right now.
