PSU v. ISU

Nice job ISU. Too bad the CATS did not keep pace with ISU. With some luck, this game pisses PSU off for Weber State, then the GRIZ take care business in every game with W's.
 
It is really going to pain me to cheer for PSU against WSU this weekend. I hate pulling for PSU. For the sake of the GRIZ, I will be pulling for PSU against WSU.

The new-ness to the Big Sky in relative terms? Our 'metro-ness' of a big city?

Seriously, just curious as to the hate-barf that I see towards PSU athletics.

They hate how your team made a mockery of thier team earlier this year, it was the same way when Weber beat them in football last season, after Weber won, Montana fans hated Weber State.

They dont like teams that beat them.

In this case, I said I was pulling for PSU against WSU. I root for outcomes that help the GRIZ most. In this case, a better shot at 1st place. As for PSU, the last few years they have had a few too many showboats and/or a cockiness about them (football and basketball) that turns me the wrong way. At least the basketball team is good enough to have reason.

As for PSU basketball, the guarantee by one of the players (was it Waters) of going undefeated after the WSU loss really turned me off. I could be way off base here, but there is something about Dominguez that I do not like. It does not help that cause when I have heard from a few people from Portland and a few others that ran into him in Missoula (yes when he was clubbing the last trip to Missoula), they said he came off as a little punk and was rather inconsiderate of a few females.

I have no idea what is or is not true as for his Missoula escapade, but even if none of it is/was true, he should not have been in clubbing in Missoula. He is supposed to be a SR leader, and Bone should have made more of a statement with him, even moreso considering the near trouble in Mexico too.

You asked so I gave you my reason. As for PSU fans, you guys are alright by me.

I think right now Griz fans in regards to Bball cheer against PSU for many reasons:

- They want the Griz to win and host the regular season tourney, PSU losses help that to happen.

- Until the win 3 weeks ago the last two games against PSU were rather embarassing, so we have a chip on our shoulders

- The post-game fight incident a few years back where Kevin Criswell got punched in the face.

Thats the top 3 that jump to mind for me.
