Wasn't it in 88 or 89 that the Griz had a 7 footer in camp? I dont think he ever saw any time that I recall.

The last I heard of anyone on a Montana roster (2008) of any similar size was a Matt Lipski, out of Ashland, Oregon. At 6'9" and 320 lbs he was said to have fell in love with basketball more so than football after one year at UofM. From what I remember, though, he was found ineligible after being tested for PEDs (as if he really needed any) and disqualified from post season play for that year.

I dug around and it was Terry Bunn.... He was in the 88-89 picture. I dont recall him getting any time but that was also a few beers ago...

Minnesota right tackle is 6’9” & 400. Commentator says he’s freakishly strong - he’s swallowing the guys lining up against him. Remember the guy who’s so big he could hold you away from him with a hand on your head? Yeah... that guy.

Faalele - you could add another couple of a’s & le’s and not run out room on his jersey.
