The only PSU fans that I encountered were lighthearted and gracious. We were in a group of them. The soccer stadium is sooooo much better than the baseball stadium. Bathrooms were tiny though. Beer was awesome.

Actually the soccer stadium is the baseball stadium. Timbers owner bought the AAA baseball team, moved them out of town and converted the place to a soccer stadium.

Really? I did not know that. Did anybody else who had been there a dozen times besides me know that? 'cause the baseball diamond must have been obscured by all the rain. And there seems to be a whole crap load of 3- or 4-year old stadium seating in the outfield. Must make it difficult to play baseball there. At least the home runs into left field would be easier now.

Reread. The BB team got move out of downtown. They no longer play there.

I have not seen it rain like that in Portland in 15+ years. Crazy downpour. It would have really sucked to be on the field.
Just watching it on TV, I kept asking, cripes, how can a QB even see his prospective receivers? It rained at the Wombat/UND game, but not nearly like in Portland, and Prukop had the worst game of his starting career. PSU's own pass record in that game was much worse than Makena's. That was a "run game" environment, but Stitt did not have a run game strategy. None. Nada. Zip. Makena made the most yards rushing; what the hell was that about? Frankly, the fact that Makena "can" run made that loss less horrendous than it could have been.
Yeah, I completely agree. If you know it is going to pour rain like all the forecasts stated, why wouldn't you come with a run game. The players looked miserable.

Gregorak got really pissed off because he could not write on his white boards. He was throwing wet towels, markers, and the boards. He was very frustrated to say the least, as were all the fans, of course.

The BB team went to Tucson to play at Hi-Corbett after the Toros moved. Don't know where they ended up permanently.

I know that, hence my sarcastic response to his stupid statement.

The soccer stadium is no longer a baseball stadium. Therefore my comment about how much better it is as a soccer stadium than as a baseball stadium. Apparently, I wasn't clear that the seating in the "soccer stadium is sooooo much better than the baseball stadium"

Pardon me for not being able to read your mind and understand your lame comment. I'll try and do better in the future.
