Yes I can see where it is hard for you guys to know what to believe when you always have your head up your ass.

Wait, you're referring to us in the plural but you're saying we have our "head" in the singular "ass." Whose ass is it, anyway?

I've actually pondered that question myself lately. And while we're on the topic, it's dark in here. And crowded. Damn crowded.

EG, do me a favor and stop talking with your hands! Your elbow is grinding into my ribs.

I think it's odd that the state college fans seem almost proud that their best player (which tells you a lot about the current state of bozo football) deserted their team like a rat fleeing a sinking ship.

There is some real irony there.

I also find it troubling that Coach Ron Ash's well-paid son couldn't predict Prokup's departure on his abacas machine thingy.

Good point. Did he also lose every big game he started?

The Oregon coaches did not get it wrong on Akili. He did excellent. I guess there is no comment on all the posters on here that said the same things about Adams that they are saying about Prukrop now. Go figure!
"All the posters" is quite a hyperbole. Just because Alpha is set negative on VA, there were many, many eGriz posters predicting (and hoping for) success for VA. He beat UM 4 times; Prukop zero. VA = gamer; Prukop, not so much.

Mr. Adams also had a substantially better playoff record than Prukop.

He did not desert the team. He graduated from MSU. He pursued a chance of a lifetime. I wish him much success. The Cats scored enough points last season to win most games. It was not the offense that lost games.

Chance of a lifetime? You mean to start at Oregon, and to give yourself the chance to be a 1st round draft pick, like VA did? Because there is zero chance of getting draft if you play at an FCS school? That once in a lifetime path?

He chose to graduate early, based on a plan to do so by getting the required credits. Assuming that would have been pointless since he had a year of eligibility left, it does look like he had, early on, actually planned to desert the team. Further, it appeared that Cramsey was intentionally giving him the opportunity to run up playing time in order to gain the stats to be able to move out and up.

According to Wombat Nation expert opinion at the time, Bleskin was as good as or possibly even smarter than Prukop, so it does appear that Bleskin might have been intentionally screwed over -- either that of it was simply the time-honored Wombat tradition of making sure the bench was better than the starters ....

What would it mean if a really good player didn't graduate, but left for a team at the same level?
