Amen.Whatever you call him. I will happily cheer for him on Sundays and glad he isn’t playing against Griz anymore. He can just be from Montana now![]()

Although are they poorly rated? Forgot it’s in KY. Flew through there once. It's Cincinnati where he has been reported to have visited. The Cincinnati airport is in Kentucky across the river, hence the "two states" comment.
Colt is "the special teams coach for an NFL team that first noticed Tommy"San Fran is in the know with Colt being down there and is definitely one of the coaches he has been talking with
It looks like he did. AMAZING ! "That came after he became just the second boy at Butte High School to earn 12 varsity letters. He led the Bulldogs to the 2019 Class AA state championship football game. In addition to lettering four years in football, Tommy letter four times in basketball and track."13 NFL coaches at X’s pro day. 13 at MSU’s too. Had been away for several months and not been home. Mellott worked out in Florida. Has to be Mellott.
Did Mellott have 12 high school letters?
Well, then it is definitely Mellott. It looks like he did. AMAZING ! "That came after he became just the second boy at Butte High School to earn 12 varsity letters. He led the Bulldogs to the 2019 Class AA state championship football game. In addition to lettering four years in football, Tommy letter four times in basketball and track."
Trying to answer that is way above my pay grade, but I might have heard at some point that the Griz thought he was too small or something along that line. Not sure. Can someone explain to me why Tommy, being from Butte America, was not recruited by the Griz
Was he not recruited by Griz? Can someone explain to me why Tommy, being from Butte America, was not recruited by the Griz
I'm sure he was recruited by the Griz but, according to the article, he had to send out tapes to colleges to jump start his recruiting. I would think with all of the former player connections we have with Butte America, that we would be first on a player like Tommy. His effort to be recruited, reminds me of the story of Dallas Neil sending a mannequin leg to NFL teams to get on their radar as a punter. Was he not recruited by Griz?
Looks like Griz took no. 1 prospect in State that year, a qb. https://247sports.com/season/2020-f...ankings/?InstitutionGroup=highschool&State=mt
He was, they just didn't recruit him as a QB.Can someone explain to me why Tommy, being from Butte America, was not recruited by the Griz
I assume the NFL is taking him as a QB either. He was, they just didn't recruit him as a QB.
I think the NFL is looking @ TM the same way they looked @ GRIZ great Marc Mariani: slot receiver plus KR and/or PR.I assume the NFL is taking him as a QB either.
I should have said 4th-6th round as I don't believe there is a 7th round anymore.Due to durability concerns re: TM, I see him as a late round ( 4th-7th ) pickup, possibly as a free agent, and while I don't think he winds up north of the border, the CFL is still a possibility.
There are still 7 rounds. I'd be very surprised if he goes as early as the 4th, but I do think some team will be enamored enough by his potential to take him in the 6th or 7th.I should have said 4th-6th round as I don't believe there is a 7th round anymore.
He will NEVER be an NFL QB. They don't run that type of offense and they don't like QB's that throw the ball up for grabs and hope their receiver outjumps the defender.I think the NFL is looking @ TM the same way they looked @ GRIZ great Marc Mariani: slot receiver plus KR and/or PR.
At 6-0 on his tippy toes, TM is short for an NFL QB, but short stature didn't stop Drew Brees or Russell Wilson, either !!!
Now that we won't ever face TM again, unless he returns as a Sh___y Kitty coach, I wish him well and hope he has a long, healthy, prolific NFL career !!!
