pzzld - a few quesitons.

1. Was this years Men's BBall season a dissappointment?

2. In your signature you Thank the Grizzlies & coaches for a fine football season, but we lost in the end! You're unhappy our men lost, why are you fine with our football team losing?

As a newbie I hesitate to bring up something so obvious, but . . . have you guys thoroughly checked out whether Puzzled isn't some kind of imposter? I guess if he was here all football season posting positives about the football team he must be what he claims, but otherwise his animosity is so over the top it makes him look like a troll.

I might have this wrong, but I think Puzzled is a CSU grad who moved to Montana 20 years ago. He is not a Montana or MSU fan, he just lives in Montana and like most casual fans he supports a team if it is winning, and mocks them when they are losing. Being from a big-time D-1 state he always feels free to throw in the obligatory "yea but it is still bush-league or minor league" comments.

I hear it all the time from my friends in Washington State, even though they only follow the Huskies or Cougars or Bulldogs when they are winning. I think it is human nature, but of course most people don't feel the need to go on message boards stating it.

Puzzled comments really are not any different than the feelings you get from most people in most big school states. They really don't care about I-AA football, and don't think it is much of an accomplishment to win the championship at that level, or get the conference auto-bid at the 16 seed.

I don't think good Griz fans are immune from this behavior, either. Puzzled is the equivalent of a Griz fan moving to North Dakota when NDSU was D-II, and going on their message boards when they won a D-II NC, or got in the playoffs, and saying big deal, D-II.[/quote

I think you are right, he sounds just like a CSU fan and I would guess he moved to Montana as their is not any fans in Ft. Collins thats for sure, he was so ashamed of their program he had to move out of there.

Perhaps after yrs of study you might have a clue-until then go over to the
south buffalochip 101 hoops board. Griz did great-program is on the rise and will continue.

I couldn't be more proud of this team. They fought back after the UW hot start. There was a time in the second half that I thought they were going to do it. Way to go Griz!!!
