Projected returning starters for the 2025 Griz

Eli Gillman - RB
Canon Panfiloff - OT
Liam Brown - OG
Cade Klimczak or Dillon Botner - C
Evan Schaefer - TE
Keali'i Ah Yat - QB

Defense:

Caleb Otlewski - LB (for when Wilson was out, was 3 games)

Kind of wild. Other guys rotated in an played a lot, but I don't think any others are credited with multiple starts.

Klimzcak, Ah Yat, maybe Botner when Panfiloff was out, Shafer and/or Olsen. Raucsh on D is the only one off the top of my head.

I'll add Klimczak & Botner, both are playing center so not sure who gets the job vs who is out.

Ah Yat is 2nd string (for now)
Shafer, to my knowledge, was never credited as a starter, it was always Barker
Same for Rausch, played a lot, never listed as a starter, and I don't think he's in line (currently) to start in 25

On page 9, Shafer is listed as the starting TE for 5 games, and Olson for one. Rausch was listed as the starter against EWU. Botner did start three games at OT. I don't believe he'll play center in 2025, but that's an uninformed guess on my part.

After looking more closely at the title of your post, I'm guessing you're forecasting starters from 2024 who will start in 2025?

Returning starters would i dictate someone who started last year.

Shafer
Otlewski
Ah yat
Botner
Klimzcak
*** a strong chance both see starting action at different positions this season, we'll see how it shakes out
Morrison k/p
Jareb Ramos had a start

Yeah - and I guess we'll see how TE shapes up with all the transfers they brought in. Good catch here as well

He seems to be a bit of a gamer... however I did not see any of the spring game. Scrimmages I saw he looked solid.

With that said, give me a mostly healthy KAY all season and I like our chances !! And also love that there seems to be some confidence in our depth there, because we all know how that shakes out. Only time in recent history we had a qb stay healthy all season was the guy that was roughly 6'4" 225 and 23 years old 😂
