I guess this petition says that "what we really need to clean up the situation is for a regent to go without anyone else's approval to a national publication and regurgitate distorted year-old information". I wonder how many of the signers were just sitting around waiting for that to happen?

I am a DemOcrat, I know Pat and like him, and since I give a few bucks here and there to other DemOcrats, I received the petition.
I will not sign it, however. Any time there is a major trial that will impact two lives deeply, people in positions of responsibility owe it to those folks to keep their pie holes closed until after the trial.
Pat didn't do that, and so there is bipartisan opposition to him being confirmed to The BOR.
Jordan Johnson and his family deserved better, Pat, than having you shoot your mouth off to The New York Times right before his trial !!!
A lot of Republicans, Independents and DemOcrats oppose Pat being confirmed to The Montana BOR--it's about fairness, decency and decorum right before a trial that will determine the fate of Jordan Johnson, not politics !!!

If JJ gets acquitted, I think it is only fair that Pat Williams meets the same demise as Robin Pflugrad did. The circumstances are similiar in the fact that both Pat and Robin, even though heartfelt, shouldn't have said what they said at that particular moment.
Pat Williams should not get a free pass! It is only fair for him not to be confirmed.

Name some names and give us poor folks a chance to know as much as you seem to know about the thugs that were recruited!
