Thanks for the mention. I follow, but choose to limit posting. There's many reasons for it. Unfortunately, my reasoning would drag down this thread with negativity and truths, that a few too many would deny.
Whew! I could have simplified my response to the 'anyone under 70' comment with my actual age, but this tune surfaced in my old, addled brain, and here we are. I guess Griz fans are music fans, and critics. :lol:
There are other Billy Joel songs which I could dredge up from the ages to make points of emphasis on this site, none if them football related either:
'Piano Man,' 'Just the way you are,' 'She's always a woman,' 'My life,' 'Big shot,' 'You're only human,' and most importantly, 'You may be right.'
I'll just put on my Billy Joel Greatest Hits albums, and smile. Tol ya I have achieved oldness. :thumb:

Lets make this clear, my role as a bloviating overrated high school coach know it all hasn't ever limited me from diving in the mud to make really awful and tired jokes. Someone and I mean someone has to shoulder the load and provide such mediocre and pedestrian analysis. You know this.
As for the Missoula Club, having been there a time or two, people have been known to exit the facility using said door. Whether it is to avoid awkward conversations with ex's, rioting bands of irrational egrizers, or simply because you want to find a more efficient way to get to the Rhino for Thursday Night Pint Night. I am not here to judge. Just to kill jokes, provide cliche analysis, and bore people to death with double speak filled 5,000 word manifestos.

Hell, why don't I just play the victim, whine about non-football posts, insult everyone who disagrees with me, post non-football posts almost exclusively, threaten people via PMs, rake my gravel yard, and join a senior community HOA board? I could be elected president (of said HOA board).

I never believed in reincarnation before I saw Steve Dill in action. One of the best characters he created was the one that was married to the mob. His brother-in-law (Luca Brasí) was a hit man for the mob which was an implied threat not to screw with him because he’s mobbed up.
Steve Dill should be a character in a Ken Kesey novel. An unpopular and isolated narcissist with little charm or charisma that yearns for admiration and acceptance. Even after repeated rejection he continues to come back to the same back water FCS website looking to be accepted as the genius he believes he is. It’s his white whale. Maybe a character created by Melville on a bad LSD trip?
