Previous Egriz Posters Who I Would Love To See Return

For all you who have been around egriz for many years, you will remember the many good posters who used to make frequent contributions to our football discussions. It should be obvious that the number of frequent posters has diminished dramatically in recent years, and the board is now homogenized with just a few contributors. Even more evident is the huge number of posts made by a small group of "board buddies" who contribute little or nothing to discussions about Grizzly athletics. The site has degraded into a Facebook/Twitter experience, where cute quips and rude comments prevail, and any new poster is immediately assaulted and/or accused of being a duplicate poster. The number of new posters during the past year has dwindled to a drip, and we are now left with a site where a small group of individuals hold court, and seem to think that egriz is their private forum.

I have made a partial list of the posters who either have left, only now lurk, or rarely post any longer. As for me, I would like to invite all of these posters back to the site. We miss your contributions, and knowledge of football and basketball. Don't be offended if I have left you off the list. The list was comprised of posters whose names I can recall. All of you who have left are encouraged to return, to talk Grizzly athletics.

i can agree with betch and silly (sic). where's coach27 on your list? and of course you are missing the original azgriz, sunshine! i suppose you are too new to remember sunshine. we disagreed about pretty much everything other than b. hauck, but he was still one of my faves. so was greenie, though. where's greenie these days? where's gordon terpe?

Funny you mention coach27. Yep, he was a great poster, with lots of inside info. He sent me a PM a couple of weeks ago, telling me why he no longer posts. I'll give you three guesses as to the reason. I think he still visits occasionally. Hope he comes back. Thanks argh!

Edit the screenshot of the pm to show a date and a sender. It’s quite easy for those under 70.

I think the odds are 99-1 that it happened. Growler is a well documented liar.

I spent a couple of hours yesterday counting the number of posts made during the past week by the usual meatheads spewing their garbage in this thread. Here are the results. The Squad made 72% of the total posts in the past 7 days. Of those posts, only 16% of them had any relevance to Grizzly athletics.

I’m going to have to ask see all of your data on this. Just like Trump, you’re old, out of shape, make things up, and have to be fact checked on everything.
