Haha, well your guess is good as anyone else's. No one has any idea how the athletic department decides to release information. I don't even think Eric Taber knows. If you ask me they have been doing it back a$$wards lately but that is just one man's opinion who is worried about the brand. At this point, there could be one to two more assistants hired so no telling if they will do a presser like Choate usually does for new hires.

It's not likely that we will have god for a coach or even god like despite some egrizzers opinion of BH, so I'm going to have to disagree. But I'm sure we will have more mortals in place soon.

Oh I’m sure there’s some on here who’d even second guess God as our coach, even after a 75 game winning streak and 5 straight natty’s.

I have not been overly critical of the actual coaches hired. I think some will be excellent and some are a little of a question mark. I have been critical of the way it has unraveled by this administration. I think they have handled it poorly compared to other athletic departments, which I find concerning and has been a pattern.

I know I've been spending too much time on Egriz when I can identify a poster just by reading their post, and not looking at their username!

I think everyone is well aware of that as he was officially announced yesterday. I think the bigger issue at play is Skyline Sports wrote a story on his hire back in early January and UM finally just making it official. The question is why UM is a month behind on their official announcement?

My guess....HR clearance, training, etc.

Bobby’s been holding unofficial pressers all along the way @ whatever McDonald’s he happens to stop by. Hearing he favors Broadway location on Thursday for lunch or Columbus & Big Timber near the family homestead on the weekends. He doesn’t do these on a schedule, but when you have to rely on the marketing communications apparatus currently in place, beggars can’t be choosers.

Ps. In the current budget environment, he prefers texts.

Yes, exactly. It’s a legitimate criticism by me of the department. Haslam line to me was that it was a HR thing. My opinion is that there is more to it than that.

Yeah, but what if the margin of victory for the 5 championships is declining, maybe going from 28 points in the first down to 10 points in the fifth? Wouldn't that indicate that everything is wrong and a new coach (or perhaps coordinators) is required? Maybe a new 'system'?

Yeah, but what if the margin of victory for the 5 championships is declining, maybe going from 28 points in the first down to 10 points in the fifth? Wouldn't that indicate that everything is wrong and a new coach (or perhaps coordinators) is required? Maybe a new 'system'?

Exactly. God in his infinite wisdom and mercy decides to let the other teams be a little more competitive and posters here wanted him fired for it.
