Prepare for griz to become obscure

The talent isn't the problem. It was the system, the attitude, playcalling/decision making, and lack of the traditional Griz swagger that has been th problem in recent years. Bobby Hauck can fix that in time to make this a playoff team NEXT season.....and for the next 20 if he stays here this time around.

What makes you think, if he was hired, that he would stay? He left for money once before, and the AD certainly ain't gonna give him a competitive wage.

If he wants to come back here I don't think money is near the top of his reasons. The ties to the area and being the cock of the walk trump about everything else, he realized a good thing after he left it.

Because he's going to take a pay cut to come back now. It isn't about money this time. He's at a different place in his life. If it was about money he could take about 50 jobs that are better than this one tomorrow. He may be the best special teams coach at any level of football. He could get that job at a power 5 school or perhaps the NFL. If he takes the job (and it seems to be confirmed that he wants it) then he's doing it for another reason....one that will keep him home for the long run.

Yea possibly. I really hesitate when I hear "it isn't about the money this time." Its always about the money at some point. I don't think they should re-hire Hauck but if that's what happens I'll support the Griz same as I always do.

So you’re fine with a slightly higher level of mediocrity....

This is a bit of a reach. By your standard, slightly worse would be a winless season. That's how far away this coach had us from a National Championship or relevancy of any kind.

He was shredded on here for YEARS about the inability to win the big one. Now we’re happy with “appearances”. NDSU fans are fucking laughing themselves to tears right now.

I’m serious right here. I literally LOL’ed at the “husky jeans” comment. Be honest...did you steal that from CDA? That really sounds like a CDA post. Are you a CDA alter-ego? Is that it?

I am not saying Hauck is the guy, I am curious what the options are. I am simply stating that the stats listed is a significant improvement on where we were under Stitt.
