Love to see us unleash some Louisville or VCU like pressure at least sometimes. Granted, we do not have the depth in the paint to do this as often as they do. I do believe we had and will have the backcourt depth to do this the next few years at least 33% to 50% of the game.

Just when I thought I was almost over the Syracuse game. I make the mistake of watching Florida Gulf Coast and San Diego State. FGC is up 10 and looking very good. I am impressed, they look cool, calm, and collected out there.

Every year there are Cinderella's. Teams which are not much better or on the same level as the GRIZ. I love seeing these stories play out. Is it asking too much to want and expect that story to be the GRIZ?
Come on GRIZ let's get this done sometime.

They are not winning by luck either. They are destroying teams. I tuned in then next thing I know they are up 15 points in less than 7 minutes. They did this to Georgetown also. Amazing, I hope they keep it going. Will be pulling for LaSalle too.

I hadn't seen them play (obviously) before the Georgetown game, but right then they impressed me -- and that has just continued. They are very quick, very athletic, and not intimidated by being in the big dance. They lost to some some big-named teams (VCU, Duke, and Iowa State) early, and then played mostly conference cupcakes. But they beat Miami-Fl in their second game of the season, so they knew they could play with the big boys. That ballooned in importance as Miami got better and better. So now, being a 15 seed, they are loosey-goosey ... nothin' to lose, and the world to gain.

now you boys know what it's going to take to get some tourney wins....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better athletes than we have right now. Kareem wouldn't see the court on that team.
Wayne's turning this thing in the right direction, and I hope he stays forever...but he's gotta ways to go.
