Post Game - Snatching victory from the jaws of defeat

That shouldn't have been a penalty. He was backing up and not in the guy's face or over him. I call BS on that penalty. I don't care if a ref warned him earlier. That just is not a penalty. Ridiculous.
I agree except I don't know about the hand tap or shove when ND receiver is on his back. Hard to tell what is going on there.

Loud was warned by the back judge the previous drive to tone it down. Hard not to follow through for the refs when he did it again the very next drive. Loud needs to learn, and you don’t always get warnings before getting a flag. Could cost us a game which goes against everyone’s goals.
Interesting. Didnt realize that. In that case yeah he should have been on his best behavior.

I am going to have a controversial know nothing armchair Coach opinion not worth the powder to blow it to hell, but I think as a whole, the MVFC is putting OL men into the NFL at pretty high rates. If it were me, and I was an elite level OT/OG/TE/C I would want to go where they are developing and producing NFL caliber talent on a consistent basis.

I am not a recruiter, and I know this isn't a recruiting thread, but for instance, this kid @CalebJacobs78 (on X) is a beast. I have watched him play for the last three years. This kid has four offers from WVU, Miami OH, University of Pikeville, and Gardner-Webb. There are dozens of kids like him that end up working in factories or the mines around here because they can't see a life outside of this place. This kid is probably going to WVU because they have a pipeline to WVU from Ironton. The point is, there is talent outside of the Pacific Northwest that would love the opportunity to play ball in a place like Montana.
But if they can't see a life outside that area, would they accept the offer? If they would make a visit, we should stand a chance.

I am pretty sure they would be willing to visit. Ironton is a hotbed for D1 players. The #1 ILB in the nation came out of Ironton 2 years ago. I mean Lincoln Riley was at last weeks game.
