I swear, reading all the comments on here, you’d think the Griz had lost, instead of pulling off an epic come-from-behind win. Does the team need to improve? That’s always true, but let’s give them more credit for what they did do well … which was, in the end, score more points than the opponent. FWIW, in a game this close, you can pick out any given play and say it won (or lost) the game. An interesting and fun, but ultimately pointless exercise.
Couple more points. First, NoDak’s other loss was on the road at then-ranked Kansas State … by a final TD with less than a minute to play.
RE: Complaints that the Griz O-Line couldn’t get our run game going. Well, welcome to Missouri Valley football. That’s what they do … sell out to stop the run. As of now, the UND defense has given up less than 100 yards per game. In the end, KAY and his receivers made them pay – with the O-Line providing just enough protection to make that happen.
