I'm not clicking on that! Look Bobby is smiling. Can't be real.

Clearly this is Chinese spam or some AI thing. Careful what you click.

Listening to the coaches and players here what strikes me is how both programs seem to be very similar in their philosophies about football and team in a good way (with a different accent, of course).

I watched both press conferences. You can tell there was a lot of emotion on the Furman side. The griz were much more collected.

The feed on the Furman conference was cut when the Furman lineman started defending their QBs comment about Montana being not very athletic got brought up. He was very emotional, what was said?

I was wondering the same...

I think he was emotional because a 10 year old kid called him fat for the whole game.

Some brainiac thought posting Huff’s comment Cliff not being athletic to social media. Maybe attempt to rally the troops (of sorts). More of a private moment that may have been better left private. Huff seems like a solid citizen and great teammate and leader of men and a seventh year player and the FU team took exception to it being posted to social media. Players do need to be thick skinned and FU from HC down played the victim role all week…the players expressed their love for each other and are protective of their own.

At least the player laughed about being called fat by a 10 year old…got to love some of the comments made during games and like the Huff comment maybe best left at stadium and not posted to social media. What happens in Vegas…

I think it was Posted already, but he just came to the defense of his quarterback and said that the clip that was shared was taken out of context and didn’t represent who Tyler huff was. He reads to children. It was unprofessional. Blah blah blah. A senior qb should know better than to give any bulletin board material, and players should no better than to be on social media leading up to a big game and if they don’t their coach should be.

I know there was a lot of emotion, but there was a lot of excuses in that presser. You know Huff was only at 75% and their RB couldn’t run in the second half, only pass block. Not like anybody is 100% healthy this time of year. He felt like they should have gotten more PI calls as we were the only team on the field that was grabby. There was a few more, but whatever. Onto the semis.

The HC was quick to play the vicim card all week. As you posted more excuses and a different form of like the UD coach justifying being beat by the Griz. A sensitive fanbase and team by their comments this week. Trying to defend SCon over Big Sky. Maybe they wanted a participation award having to deal with all the obstacles and injuries. LOL

That sucks they were banged up but we also would have loved to be able to start our actual starters on the entire left half of the OLine

A lot of whining. Their QB made ill advised comments and received push back on it.
What did expect? Buck up and take it.
