Post Game: Improvement in the 2nd half

Seems to be a lot of Gus bashing! The o-line had more responsibility in those turnovers than Gus! Like any QB, when given time, things go well. That pocket in the first half collapsed too fast for any QB. In the second half, all went smoothly, as the o-line finally gave Gus some time! Something this blog is failing to do! Lots to work on, but sheesh, His had some pretty good stats.

Wrong. While I agree that the OL struggled, a good QB is able to adjust to the game. Gus struggled big time in the first half and is responsible for his turnovers. Gus needs better situation awareness. Gus made adjustments in the second half but still is very inconsistent. I am curious to see which Gus shows up Saturday.

Gus would blame himself for every turnover, but I would bet that o-line felt some blame too! Yes, he should have some situational awareness, and he did make adjustments, but so did the o-line. I too hope "consistent Gus" shows up.

Also, on some of those throws there was a definite miscommunication between the qb and receivers...Those are all Brady's mistakes as well?

(serious answer - who knows, could have been the WRs or the QB)

Better answer below:

I blame Brady for everything now.

Pulled over? #ThanksBrady

Stub my toe? #ThanksBrady

Packers cut Josh Sitton? #ThanksBrady

The one that really pisses me off: Went out to my truck today and had a flat tire...thanks a lot! What the fuck kind of qb lets that happen?

I guess we will see what type of leader that Gus is getting his receivers on the same page. Both interceptions were bad decisions by Gus, not mistakes by the receiver.

You blame a QB when he gets hit in the arm from the blind side while starting his throw?

BG made some big mistakes in the first half and missed a few throws, but he was still well over 50% passing in the first half, I believe, his receivers weren't getting open, and it looked like he was running the team well. It will be interesting g learn how his play calls and reads were in the first half.

Well, wasn't that the excuse last year ... with experienced receivers?

Not an excuse....just a question.

Brady got 13 completions of 20 attempts (65%), but for a total of just 111 yards (8.5 yds per completed pass).

Five of the completions and 48 of the yards were in the final drive of the second quarter.

By possession, passing
1) 20 yds
2) 29 yds
3) 8 yds
4) 0 yds (FG)

5) 5 yds
6) 1 yd
7) 48 yds (FG)
