its difficult to get on the field to take a single rep at that level. The fact that everyone but the punter played is a great thing and yeah - if you actually played the game, you'd know that everyone is a little wild eyed until you get hit in the mouth for the first time. These are kids, not machines.

Yes, I like the phrase. I can often see that in poster's posts, because they say things that no one who played the game would ever say. I also like it because I think it's funny to see posters cry when it's pointed out that they never played the game. I find it interesting how some of them melt. Will you, when I put the tag on you?

Oh bullshit :lol: . You sure put football players on a pedestal….plenty who have “played the game” say incredibly stupid shit both about the game and life in general. You could put the tag on me, but won’t need to as I freely admit that I only played at the high school level. That’s probably not up to your standard of having played the game :lol:

I have never put any football player on a pedestal. Another dumb comment by you. I don't think everyone who played the game knows a lot about the game. I have never said that. With my phrase, I'm focusing on the ones who say stupid things and show they never played the game.

I enjoy football, but I think family, life, work, accomplishment, etc. are much more important. I have the Ivy football view.
