Post Game: Griz roll in the heat

Thanks for the write up BW. I don't think a judgement about the effectiveness of our running game can be made until we actually play a competitive team. I don't think either qb is going to be quality teams this year. McDowell is not an effective passer and Vidlak is no better than Brown. I would like to see how Hout is developing.

Bobby is a above average coach but he is either unable or not willing to develop a young QB or a passing game. Griz will beat all the weaker teams but Idaho will show them how its done. Gilman is an exceptional talent and he may carry the team but the one dimensional offense will be the achilleas heel of both the cats and Griz.
I was hoping this year would be different the but last game killed the hope. It will be a decent year, a playoff win or two but that's as high as a BH coached team will go,

Griz had a 43 point lead, Vidlak was given a very limited time to play. If they want to develop a passing game and a young QB more time and more passes would be used. It was the perfect opportunity and it was wasted. To me it confirmed my suspicions the BH has no intention of not pounding the rock, thats always been his philosophy.

A 43 point lead is not the time to fill the air with footballs. Unnecessary to humiliate an inferior opponent. Also is was unnecessary to show our good stuff to the scouts in a game like this. We will see plenty of Vidlak and the passing game in more competitive games.
