All right... conference play is here. The Grizzlies have a lot of work to do and now hit the road for a place we always have challenges at... NAU. Let's rest up, regroup, and get after it!

Go Griz!

Is it just me, or is anyone else really tired of hearing this week in and week out? Seems we've been saying that for years now.
Maybe it should be the new team motto. "Welcome to Montana Grizzly football....we have a lot of work to do".

That's the go-to mantra for a poor team, whose fan base refuses to accept the reality that they are indeed a poor team.

LOL fair but it's probably better than "we're sh*t outta luck and can't fix it"

Truth!

It sounds better when you sing it to the Scooby Doo song melody.

it's also the mantra for a team with 2 new QB's, a new starting RB, two new TE's, a couple new starting WR's and about 6 new starters on defense.

It's also the mantra of Super Bowl champions. In other words, I've never heard a coach not say it.

When was it said last season?

Question about that third and 22 yard pass that was a catch then a play later wasn’t a catch.

Rewatched the game last night.

What the heck happened? Heard no official explanation.

And you WON'T hear one either. Big Sky Conference commissioner is notorious for ignoring shit like that. Those refs probably got raises and promotions from that game.

Watched the replay several times, he was not juggling the ball. In fact he tucked it away and stumbled forward for three steps. Maybe because he couldn’t control his run and fell all by himself is was incomplete. A player who can not control his body after catching a pass must not have really caught the ball. New interpretation of a forward pass catch.

What did everyone think about TWO FSU players getting ejected for targeting? I don't think those were intentional, and I also saw instances where griz defenders led with the helmet and they weren't called. I HATE that rule because they don't know how to enforce it consistently.

The second one on the OL was absolutely targeting. He ran in late to a pile and went head first into our guy.

I never saw the first one, though, so I can't say.

Feel free to post the plays where you think our guys committed targeting, though.

I don't believe intent matters.

A rebuild year after last year's juggernaut.

Learned from mSDUI...rewards for failure.

Fun thing about college sports, programs are forced to rebuild to some degree each year no matter their record the previous season. Nature of the beast.

that's why I laughed at dipshit thirdandlong's comment about OMG, "how was Bobby planning to replace 2 all-BSC corners" etc., etc., etc...yeah, EVERY team has to replace starting talent that graduates. EVERY YEAR. it's just a non-starter of an argument.
