“I wish we could have had a glimpse at how Grossman would've fared with this offense.”
Is Grossman out for the season again?!!?!
I was just asking bc you wrote it…No clue - but he didn’t play last night.

No 'might'.Thanks. That looks like it might have been a fumble.
Ostmo had a dropped ball and so did Keelan WhiteAh Yat doesn’t overthrow
Deck catches the punt
Fontes doesn’t drop two passes in a row
Ah Yat doesn’t fumble
Jackson doesn’t get the PI call
Fontes DOES get the PI call…
Griz get a stop on 3rd & 15 just once
There’s always 5-7 plays of “what if’s” that would turn the tide…
Thank you for relaying your assurances and for telling me how to think. It's good to know you have been entitled to that.I have been assured it would have no impact, so just stop that line of thinking right there bub.
I think the 7 carries for 12 yards was his stat line last year for the Griz…..I don’t believe he even got in the game against the Griz on Saturday night.I got to hand it to Iverson Young, the grass is greener in Missouri. Seven carries for twelve yards against his former Griz.
I watched that replay. The Mo guy was blocking him, in his face, well out of bounds, Griz sideline as I recall. I was surprised the sideline Griz didn't stomp his ass right then and there. Prime example of non-refereeing.
AZ noted that in another thread, I re-checked my source, and you were both right. My mia culpa is in the other thread.I think the 7 carries for 12 yards was his stat line last year for the Griz…..I don’t believe he even got in the game against the Griz on Saturday night.
You’re welcome. I’m here for you.Thank you for relaying your assurances and for telling me how to think. It's good to know you have been entitled to that.

Roger that, homeslice.Anything you say "Bub."
Nope. Not one pass to the TE's.I appreciate everyone's thoughts on the game (well, almost everyone's). My non-expert observation is that we just weren't in-sync on offense or defense, which I suppose should be expected in a Week 1 matchup against a quality opponent. We too often killed our own momentum with dropped passes, missed tackles, and what appeared to be a lack of awareness or missed assignments.
I also think the absences of Junior Bergen and Riley Wilson had a dramatic impact on the team, not only from a performance but also from a leadership standpoint. I think Ah Yat wants to be that leader - and I think he will be eventually - but for now I think he's still too reckless. Whichever QB demonstrates the most consistency over the next couple of weeks, that'll be the one the players and coaches get behind. Leadership requires trust, and trust is earned through consistency.
I was hoping and expecting to see our TEs utilized more often in the passing game, assuming that Fife's relative unfamiliarity with the offense and Ah Yat's youth would benefit from using the TEs as a safety outlet. But from what I can tell, the TEs didn't get a single target all night. I'm hoping that'll change, because we have some really athletic guys at that position who could provide matchup nightmares for defenses.
