I still think Ferris is a good team. But this has become a trend. Griz were allegedly trying to “find their way” and figure out what they had through the OOC. Well, here we are…and it turns out they’re either still lost or don’t know what they have or how to use it.

I fear it’s gonna be a long season. But honestly, it may be just what the program needs to be forced to finally make a change.

I know it's all about matchups...but I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how Dixie state could lose so big to the griz, then beat NAU by a large margin, but then the griz lose last night.

The more and more I think about it the more I think that Ferris coach was really lobbying for the job. I said it as a joke after the Ferris game, but I'm not joking anymore. If he's not your next head coach it's a failure by the administration. Either that or it should be Andy Thompson. If he can be pulled away from California.

Well, we all know how accurate the transitive property works in sports, so there’s that. :lol:

That being said, I fear Andy could potentially be another Hauck…he inherited a cadillac and has kept it on the road. Can he BUILD a cadillac? Because Bobby has now proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he cannot.

During Bobby's first tenure, he was handed the keys to a Cadillac and essentially had to keep his hands on the wheel. However, this time around, the Cadillac was stuck in a ditch, and as we've witnessed, he evidently isn't the one to extract it.

But my comment asking about why some bought the hype should be the least of your concerns but I’m glad you get to play moral high ground and police/ degrade me instead of policing some of your posters who eat their own. Bobby isn’t going to get it done in Missoula again. I hoped he get have the same level of success as his first go around. He and most of this coaching staff aren’t hungry. Many are nearing the end of their carriers.

I think it’s time to make a wholesale change in coaching! If we don’t things will continue to slide down the drain.

Certainly the BSC conference championship doesn’t run through Missoula this year.

At this point I don’t know what they do to right the ship. Make Justin Green or Chad Germer interim head coach?

Germer...Germer????? Germer should be fired tonight and the other coaches take over his reduced workload (after being incompetent ). Everyone (except hoops and we know how little he truly knows if he thinks otherwise) the oline has been the problem for years. They return all five and were dominated by a d2 school and what was a 0-3 big sky team. Not sure what he has on Bobby to stay safe, but knowing Bobby's job is getting exposed you would think he would man up and resign knowing his area is weak and last night one player watched as the QB was getting chased and embarrassed the program. This team is falling apart, you could see the frustration and the majority stems from oline issues and has for years. I'd be embarrassed to show my face around the team and other coaches if that many people can tell I was doing a terrible job.

You must not have been alive in the 80’s. Many Griz fans that were feel that the crap the cat’s got during the streak was mild compared to the arrogance of the 80’s cats. It is cyclical. Be careful who you step on going up the ladder, you may need their help on the way down. You can be a fan without being a jerk. This applies to both sides of the divide.
