There is no point on continuing to argue. You can say you're best buds with Hauck a 100x and he's not going to believe you and no one really cares. You guys are just arguing to argue

It's completely hopeless but I earnestly wish you good luck with your efforts.

Would you say I tried very well? Because Hauck is my BFF, almost got married and he told me I did very well. Others might say I only earned a C - C+ in effort. But, my cousins uncle that also has been Haucks BFF since in the womb told me I did very well as well.

Regarding the OL, based on breaking down the game Sunday, and Hauck's coach speak, I'll give my opinion.

If you mainly judge the 1st quarter, then the grade isn't as good. I think C or C+ is fair for that time. However, 2nd quarter to 10 minutes left in the 4th, they improved as the game progressed. During that time, the backs had some room to run, with decent holes. Johnson had time to go through progressions, which rarely happened last season. Also NSU had a very good sized DL, they very seldom penetrated the LOS after the 1st quarter. Their success was the 1st quarter and the 4th quarter, when we were playing deep into the depth chart. Even during those times, our offense still moved the ball.

I honestly can't grade our OL worse than a B, when the top 7 to 8 were rotating. If not for some early struggles, they could be an A. How can a 4.5 yard rushing average, 2 sacks (1 on a qb mistake), be a C or worse?

If you're grading them in the C range or worse, you're mainly doing so in the 1st quarter and 4th quarter mop up time. Overall, our top 7 or 8 played great, with some room for improvement. Most of the time, they did their job.

Just my opinion.

This isn't an argument. I am stating a fact as to how the coaches graded the o-line in the game.

Doesn’t Britt’s sack count? Because he was sacked once at least.

Interesting. Because he was actually tackled TWICE, for six yard losses each time, in his last drive. I guess I’ll never understand how it can be a tackle of the QB behind the LOS and NOT be considered a sack.

Hope this helps. It isn't so much the tackle box as the QB's intention. If he is clearly trying to run and displays no intention to throw a sack is not given. When a qb is flushed it is almost always scored a sack, even if he's tucked it away. QB draw out of the gun is one of the toughest ones to score because often he will drop a step or two and then tuck and run.
