A couple of things:
1) SUU was never called for a false start. They were disciplined to go 1 second after the left guard put his hand out.
2) With above being said, they got the Griz defense to jump offisdes many times due to the ball then being snapped 1.5 to 2 seconds after the left guard put his hand out.

Griz can blitz all day long but be disciplined about it. A new item that we will probably see one of the next three teams do to the Griz to get valuable first downs.

Great point about the delay in the SUU snap after the guard put his hand out. I had not considered that as a reason why we had 5 off-sides. SUU knew the loud crowd would be a problem for snaps, and they obviously worked on counteracting it........ unfornunately it worked very well for them.

Shit happens when you change rosters due to injury/illness.

They make it to the playoffs, they'll be a tough out.

Why would one believe that? I don’t think there’s ANYONE out there afraid to face this offense. The last two teams coming into WaGriz have been the ones with the attitude and the chip on their shoulders, fully expecting to win. I’ve NEVER seen that.

If by some miracle this team, which had SO much potential preseason and early on, even MAKES it to the playoffs, I believe they’re one-and-done. There are no 1-7 SUU’s out there in the playoffs.

The constant this team has had over the last three seasons is the coaches. I believe Germer is not conditioning these guys on the O-Line correctly. They get ran over all the time. To me that would be embarassing! Like Brint said, how does a four man front get around these guys so easy?
The OC, Rosey calls a terrible game. Our offense has never been good with him at the helm of it!
The DC, Baer, has our defense rushing from the same points every time. Easy for the opponent to figure out where the blitz is coming from.
The special teams are well coached, but look who is charge of them?
Since the other teams always fair catch the kickoff, why don't we squib kick the ball so they have to return it. Our special teams cover very well?
Kris Brown looks and makes, I would say 90% of his plays to the right. Probably higher, IDK? Easy for a defense to defend cover the right and leave the left side of the field single man.
Coaches have got to see this if I do? I am an uneducated 40 year military man and I can call almost every play this offense will run before they snap the ball. Think what a trained football mind sees?
No more sugar coating, several coaches on this staff are not up to grade anymore and might want to be let out to pasture or seek other jobs?

If you think the product that Germer put on the field is bad this year, wait until next year. If they don’t secure multiple drop downs, we will put the least experienced, talented product on the field. Cross your fingers he is gone and this is addressed. And dump the S&C Coach. If anybody is worse than Germer, it’s him. Players can’t stand him either. Losing Nicholson killed us.

So the S & C coach isn't Germer? My bad! I told you all I am uneducated. Then yes, he is the shitz! And Germer is bad too...

I agree, this crisis continues.

In the last few weeks I have made it a point to watch as many top FCS teams as I can and will say with confidence that every top 10 ten team and almost every team in MVC, (even UNI is making an impressive late season run), look to my eyes, to be bigger, faster, stronger, and would absolutely destroy the Grizzly team that played yesterday.

I'm mixed with this post. In 2019, Rosenbach's offense was great to terrific, very consistent, and could be relied on. So, it hasn't been terrible in his whole time. As for the OL, collectively, they had a very solid season as well. Going further back, wasn't Germer part of developing a few OL that made the NFL? I honestly don't know. My point being, he's capable of coaching, good or better OL.

As for strength and conditioning coach, I cannot dispute your opinion. Facts are, multiple position groups are struggling physically. We've had so many injuries, some of which have been lingering repeat injuries. At this point, an evaluation of the work outs is definitely needed. Would Pfhaler (sp?) be open to an opportunity?

The most controllable factor this season is playcalling and player utilization. If, those things aren't improved, let's get a new OC. One that specializes more on the passing game. I'm confident, Hauck knows how to build a running game, when we have a solid OL and healthy backs.

This game reminded me of 2009 at Idaho State. That was a better Montana team, but the #2 Griz squeaked out a painful win against what would become a 1-10 ISU. Came down to special teams at the very end…ugly win against a terrible team. But it still counted as a win

We haven't had a dominant punishing rb since Reynolds. That's not to say we haven't had good rbs but nothing as I described.
Remember that the old Bobby Ball was to wear them down to the 4th quarter and then beat them senseless with a running game.
I think there is a s an c issue that contributes to the injury situation. There was a time when the Griz were so well conditioned they could have played a "double header." I think that an overtime game would be a challenge now..
That said, have faith and Go Griz!

please remember the S/C coach is from Big Timber and was hired by Bobby...so don't expect changes there

At the very least, evaluate and make changes. It's apparent, something has to change with his programs for most all offensive groups. Then, if things don't change, let him go.
