Cam has the intensity and leadership that we need for this team.
What I found very interesting is when they showed the two teams right before the 4th quarter, Hauck had his team gathered around him and they were jumping up and down. The Huskies coach was standing by himself looking very stoic.

Not sure why the defensive line isn't getting a lot of love for their performance...yes the linebackers had an outstanding game and some really gaudy numbers...but the vaunted Washington line wasn't able to get to the linebackers a whole lot because of the defensive line...I thought they played a great game against a very good o line.
 
I especially liked that the Griz looked like they belonged on the field. Their size, speed, and strength matched UW straight up. This wasn’t David slew Goliath. This was a battle of equals.
 
FUBO allowed me to record the game so I'm rewatching it before I cancel.

I think it's a little unfair to be criticizing Cam much at this point. Some of his passes were ones that could've (and maybe should've) been caught, some were defensed well and a few were just plain misses of open receivers.

Looking at the stats, I know which ones I'd rather have. The one where there were no INTs on the missed passes.

Pass effic: 90.52

UW - 27-46-3 226
Avg/catch: 8.4
Pass effic: 86.92

I'll be shocked if they don't air it out a bunch next week and Cam gets more comfortable with his throwing targets. Also expect some of those completions to turn into big gains. If he's missing wide open Receivers or throwing INTs next game then I'll be worried.

...obviously your pastor is lacking knowledge in the Word because the bible is filled with stories about over
confidence and arrogance (Huskies ) David vs Goliath .....a prideful heart is always a man's downfall! :shock:

I would have had a really hard time not doing the "Bullshit" cough in the middle of his sermon, even if it was in church :D :D :D :D
 
I'm confident and pleased with every aspect of the GRIZ. Not much needs cleaned up. How great will this team be, when Cam gets in sync in the passing game? We also need a consistent long fg kicker. Area of concern, health and experience at halfback.
