- Connor Strahm had himself a day as well... ...Add in for the few egrizzers that "never wanted to see him play again" because of his personal fouls last year... he was able to draw at least one... possibly two... on the PSU offense. Smart play.

couldn't disagree more. intentionally goading players on the opposing team to commit personal fouls is not sportsman-like and i personally can't applaud it.

I love the fact he can get in your head and live there "rent free". The game is not for the timid.

Trash talk is part of the game, he was able to make PSU hurt themselves. Addtonslly he was solid in tackling and in the end put the game out of PSU's reach.

Really, dude? His trash talking and goating skills impressed you?

It accounted for 30 yards in PSU penalties that killed two drives. He also had 7 solo tackles and mutliple QB hits that resulted in failed 3rd down conversions.... plus he scored 2 points.

Not to mention, Strahm is friends with about 25 players on PSU's team, and he and Strong, who also know a ton of the PSU guys, were out there until pretty much dark talking with the PSU guys. So a lot of the trash talk was actually friendly trash talk. I have also watched Strahm closely since he came off suspension. He's showing a TON of sportsmanship out there. I've seen him help opposing players up and helmet tap players from EWU and PSU a ton the last two weeks. Anyone who doesn't think Strahm is showing class on the field isn't watching or has an agenda against him.

I wonder if ISU is game planning around Strahm's trash talking abilities.

Probably not game planning around it but I am sure ISU coaches have or will discuss it with their players as Strahm seems to elicit penalized reactions to whatever he says or does

PSU has played dirty in the past. Pressing their buttons to get them to reveal their weakness is just gamesmanship. Not a lot different than getting a CB known to jump routes to bite on a pump fake. All part of the game.
