Post Game: A slow start but a strong finish

Ferris state, and it’s a terrible game to schedule. For one they’re D2 and don’t count toward playoffs. For another they are one of the very best in D2 and will be hungry to beat us. It will definitely be their super bowl. They crushed central Washington this year, a team we recently played for comparison. It’s not like they will be a pushover. I’m not saying we will have a problem beating them, but that they’re not exactly a pushover, and are in fact much better than probably at least 1/2 of the FCS outside of the big sky, mvfc and caa….and we will be their super bowl, and there is exactly zero incentive for us, nothing to win and everything to lose. There is exactly zero chance we lose the game, I’m just saying it’s a dumb game to schedule, as it’s basically worthless.

Agreed. Be nice if Haslam could find a FCS opponent to take the place of this game. Ugh.

In an effort to bolster the ranking, book the weakest teams he can find as long as the fans don’t get upset and the stadium is full for home games.The plan is to win the NC, thus, the overall record is all important at playoff selection time. Those that would like to see Wyoming, Utah State, Colorado State in our stadium are not going to be rewarded until new policies are approved.

The likes of Wyoming, Utah State and Colorado State are never going to play in WaGriz unless the Griz move up to MW. MW teams will not play in FCS stadiums. Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing is a matter of opinion.

South Dakota is far better than the other 2 teams we played and they are mediocre or a little above average. The FCS is watered down, severely. Bring JMU, SHSU, OD, GS, App etc back and SD is a straight bottom dweller. Instead they are a little above average in the fcs right now, which is not a good look for the f. Every team we have played so far are teams we should always beat by 20+ points. We won't know what we have until we play Idaho and Sac St. After those games we will know where we stand.

You might be my favourite closet troll on this board. I kinda think you picked your name "Griz a dick". Not much positive Griz stuff in your posts, just saying.
