Don't forget the missed field goal in the first half, all we would have needed was a field goal at the end of the game but who knows if that would have been made!

Don't remember any missed FG attempts in first half......do you?

Yes.

I believe it was earlier 3rd quarter wasn't it?

Maybe. I did my best to drink away all memory of the game.

Are there highlights out there somewhere that I am missing?
Show me the way, didn't see the game. Just listen on the Radio after half.

It was halfway through the 3d quarter. On the play after the Cat d-back took off his helmet on the field and threw it down, and refs failed to penalize him. With penalty, UM drive would have continued, from the 11 or so, and UM probably would have scored. Thanks refs.

Very good writeup. I disagree on Eastwood. I think he is out of his league.

Agreed, don’t think he is a D1 athlete. Honest opinion, no disrespect. Bobby needs
To get Turner and Janacaro ready for next year

So, a kid recruited to San Diego St, who redshirts, transfers to UM, and then starts most of the games for UM, is not a D-I athlete?

Huh, interesting.

Do you think that running backs at UM that didn't play, and didn't start, are not D-I athletics? Or why are they D-I athletes and Eastwood isn't?

Or, is 4.1 per carry, behind a not great o-line, and 1 fumble, just a strong indication that he is not a D-I athlete and never will be? Just curious.

Do you think it's possible that a redshirt frosh would improve year to year, or are they, or Eastwood, just stuck where he is?

Yeah, there were also two dropped interceptions on our side. Oh well.

So what?

On one of them, the Cat threw off him helmet on the field and didn't get a penalty. A penalty there probably wins the game for the Griz.

Why wasn't that a penalty?

Not sure to be honest

Refs must have felt that the helmet wasn't intentionally removed by the player. They have a better view of it than you do.

Your last statement isn't 100% true. I used to ref, and there are many instances where fans have a better vantage point, from their elevated position in the stands.

I will stipulate that some refs cant see shit, even if they have a better view :thumb:

Huh? The player put both hands on the sides of his helmet and lifted it off of his head. Think his chinstrap was affixed. So he had to have exerted some force for the helmet to go off. It didn't come off during the play. He was running up field, and at least 10 yards away from the play when helmet came. If you had played more football, you would know that helmets don't just jump off heads when players are running.

....three fumbles away from being 9-2.....

Interesting if you look over Brints talking points (so far, knock on wood) this staff and team has been adressing them.

Three plays away from a bye and hosting a playoff game.

As painful as it was when it was unfolding, maybe last year's team was closer than we thought.

That's a great sign for this year's team. Gotta admit, I'm still a little gun shy but maybe a few egrizzers pounding their chests are on to something.

what, that self- chest percussion treatment helps loosen aging lungs, so that they can bring up irrelevant old threads without losing much breath?

Exactly. (not all caps)
