Griz fans have been weaned into accepting an inferior product under the factual self-fulfilling prophecy that there are no outside programs worthwhile left to bring into Washington-Grizzly Stadium... yeah for sure. And gullible season tix holders continue to pay filet prices for flank steak...big bucks to justify what for many is basically a tailgate social experience...
It was a nice day at the stadium. Good tailgating and good beer (at some places in the stadium. BG looked good (17 completions in a row at one point). It was fun to see the many back-ups and younger guys getting playing time, playing hard, and making plays. Appears to be considerable younger depth in the coming years. Both back-up qb's looked good. Nice to see Rocky KIeever and his induction to Griz hall of fame. He looks great. Saw some of his buddies at the Mo Club on Sat. morning, and they said they wished they hadn't seen Rocky the night before (I think they all went out on the town). Tripp/Coyle were at the game, and hanging with their friends before and after. Was fun to see them. They, of course, look incredibly fit. They work out at my friend's gym in Bellevue.
