Post Game: A beatdown and now playoff bound

So.. Conspiracy theory: anyone notice that Atlanta Grizzly 1 when contracted is AG1? Same as Alpha Grizzly 1? Both the same person??

Is the moon landing fake? Is Tupac really dead?

I'm probably REALLY late to this conclusion...

I wasn't going to post, but reading the sugar-coated drivel that Wally predictably spewed needs a rebuttal. I watched the game with two former high school coaches, and one former college assistant coaches, all old guys now. They were shaking their heads in disbelief at Stitt's second half play-calling.

some lame bullshit

more bullshit

blah blah blah.... I almost stopped reading through this part...

Man.... does this guy ever shut up? Seriously... just droning on now
... Expectations for our football team are not what they used to be. But just wait until Stitt "gets his players in place"....... I'm sure we will become an elite program again then!!!

Wow - did posting this make you feel like a bigger man? Must have felt nice to show us poor, dumb Griz fans how stupid we are for being happy about our team giving a pretty solid beat-down to that team from Bozeman.

If only we had you and your three unemployed friends coaching the Griz, they'd be in the Super Bowl! Clearly great football minds like yours can't be limited to the FCS playoff, that would be an insult to your talent and intellect. It really is a shame that the world is forced to watch the actual coaches and actual players step out on to the actual field and play for real when we could be experiencing what Atlanta Griz1 obviously sees in his delusions ...

Great edit. POTY nominee...

Haha agreed!

I am getting sick of hearing about Lider already. If the scats want to get serious, look at some of the key holds on Holmes that were NOT called. :thumb:

Another pedestrian fan gets schooled :finger:

AG1, in all serious, name all the MSU players, from Montana, who were give SCHOLARSHIPS out of high school, who out-played any Griz players yesterday. And I'll help you get started, Newell and Bignell were walk-ons.

Well Hello!
Yes, I believe Captain Obvious has entered the building.

Besides the AG1 name variations, there is a simple version to detect his trolling. If the post is extremely negative towards the Grizzlies (or kissing Bison butt) then it is usually lil' alpha behind the keyboard.

What does giving scholarships out of high school have to do with evaluating Montana high school talent? In case you have been asleep, Mariani, and Anderson were also walk-ons. In addition, both MSU and UM give lots of partials and preferred walk-on status to Montana high school kids and save scholarship money for the out-of-state recruits. No mystery to most of us.

OK, fine, we'll go with walkons, but I can tell you straight up that Newell and Bignell didn't CHOOSE MSU over UM, Delaney didn't recruit either of them, and yes, FTR, I wish he had. So, I'll rephrase the question, what MSU kids from Montana that had the choice of both the Cats and Griz, that played for the Cats yesterday, out-played their Montana counterpart at that position?

looks like ya got him there Hav....

Atl griz 1.........
"Scats couldn't beat a powder puff flag football team"?
Sound football analysis
"Stitt couldn't out coach the Sentinel guy"?
Sound football analysis
Bitching about the play calling......?
Well I saw a Griz team come out in the second half with much of the same offense they employed in the 1st half. The Scats countered with adjustments and the Griz had to adjust with bubble screens and the like..
You forget in the 1st half we ran up the gut numerous times for 3 - 4 yards setting up an explosive play action attack..
What it really boils down to is your decided lack of good character. You're an asshole and want others to know about it because it gives you a feeling of dominance or whatever... Taking solace in the opinions of High school coaches??? 50 plus points not good enough... Shoulda' scored 80...?
There have been many times this season where I really wondered what Stitt was all about...... ? Yet I never once thought he didn't have a set of "balls".... In fact just the opposite..
Yet it really doesn't matter does it...? The Griz took care of business these last two weeks and now a home playoff game is their reward..
GO GRIZ!!!
Portland State needs a few more fans..... I'm sure they're taking applications....

Yeah, best of luck with this conversation.

Against my better judgment, I tried to reason with him on this topic but he is hopeless.

He actually went as far as to make up a number of players that don’t exist to support his argument. He got called on it over and over and always finds a way to spin it.

Can you imagine sitting next to Atlanta101 during a Griz football game?

On the other hand sitting near Alpha with his hoard of cuties might be worth a go... Eh?

TREMENDOUS game by the GRIZ, I am so proud of them :!: Thank you for getting us (the fans) the Brawl of the Wild victory :!: :!: :!:

Before the game I posted about how the Griz defensive ends have trouble with keeping outside containment (because they often crash down inside). The kitty kats knew that as well, having called a reverse on the very first play of the game. And yep, as easily predicted, our defensive end crashed down the line of scrimmage, ending up over the center, while the receiver went around the outside (where the D-end should have been) for a huge gain. Can we wake up please?!

And I posted about how the Griz defenders, with pass defense responsibility, often get caught looking into the offensive backfield expecting run, when it's pass...leaving receivers wide open, this game it was THE BIGGEST kat on the flippin field, the Miami transfer TE, TWICE! That's a little easier to do though, than giving up outside contain. I still can't get over our in-ability, at times, to keep contain. That is rule number 1, starting back in grade school FB for pete's sake.

GREAT GAME GRIZ! Most of us knew you'd win this game, even going all the way back to fall camp. Now kick some ass in the playoffs, YOU BELONG :!:

A little gloating? Sure. But to the victor go the spoils.

A lot of people have mentioned that ROOT SPORTS tv commercial that aired all season, the one where Prukop said that last years Brawl of the Wild is "burned into my memory" and that in 2015 "I will be ready"...and that "I've had years of preparation".

His brain must have combust after this current memory. 8-) :thumb:

Raider, you are desperate trying to spin this, and I never made up any players. You love to lie to try to make up for the fact that I owned you on this topic. You would not even admit that Bignell and Newell could start for the Griz. You hate the Cats so much that you lose all perspective. As I told you, a current Griz assistant coach admited to me that the Cats had done a better job of recruiting Montana during the Delaney years. That's good enough for me. Keep spinning it dude!

Just curious...how does admitting that the Griz did not even attempt to recruit Newell or Bignell a good thing....

I don't know about Newell, but Bignell's family would have disowned him had he played for us.
