I’m not even very mad. I don’t know how to explain perfectly, but I really feel like this was just a perfect storm of maybe a dozen or more factors that others have already mentioned. My wife was wondering if the fellas may have stayed out late last night, and I honestly wonder if she’s not onto something. I know I’d be more concerned if this was a season-ending loss like in recent history, but I think I’d just burn this tape, hope for a seed to heal up, and focus on the playoffs.

Equivocating rape with a football loss? We as fans can do better.

You’ll be fine. There are plenty of “Safe spaces” on campus. It’s a metaphor cup cake. Nobody is suggesting Choate actually raped Bobby.

I question the teams preparation for one reason.....we had a full week to snap and execute our first play.....mus came out in their standard defense etc. but we couldn't get it off in time and delay of game before any time off the clock ....that my friends, should NEVER happen to any team....then is went down hill from there....

Regarding your last paragraph, I’m a bit puzzled by the defensive scheme as well. I’m not a coach, but it was odd not to see any change after half.

I really felt like we were going to run the table after Sac State. That was kind of like getting beaten up by the neighborhood bully. Today felt more like a beating by drunk daddy.

One observation my wife made on Choate's moobs. She said she thought they were real and they are spectacular.

It's a loss. They happen. That's why you play the game. As I type this Oregon is getting beat by Arizona State (5-5) 21 to 3. I am shocked we lost the way we did but it happened. The Cats played lights out the way we did against Weber. The Griz played flat. Enough blame to go around but what is the point. Now we have to get back up and get ready for the playoffs. The season is not lost. The Cats get bragging rights for 364 days and then we do it again. The Griz made huge strides this year and I expect they will make big strides between now and next season. Let's get ready to RUMBLE!!!!! Bring on the playoffs!!!

Stitt never lost like this to MSU


What appeared to be a a difficult schedule turned out to be not so difficult.


2017 team was 7-4 and played 7 of the last 8 games with a back up red shirt freshman QB and the 8th with a WR at QB. That would doom any team.

All the crap stitt gets on here I suggest you look around this team and think about what this team looks like without the guys stitt brought in.

I’m definitely in Hauck’s corner, but I do think people overlook the fact that Stitt never had a season where QB1 got to play every game. Hauck has had the luxury of 21 of 23 games with the same dude behind center. It’s just an observation.

And before you say it, Actuallyinthebox, I know we’re better now, and Stitt didn’t protect his QBs, and I am not implying any other possible thing you could interpret as me taking a shot at Hauck or defending Stitt in any way, shape, or form in whatever zero-sum situation you create. All rights reserved.

Yep. At the end of the day it’s a blip on the radar screen. Life goes on...playoffs go on...Griz go on...hope to see ‘em again in the playoffs.
