Q - Was the Randy Moss record the 1996 chipper vs Montana & Billy Ivey ? (not fair that Griz defensive scheme put him in solo coverage often that day 1996). Good to erase that from the record books.

- Samori Toure, as all know by now, broke the single playoff game receiving record with his 303 yards, surpassing Randy Moss. He had an incredible day

The Griz are moving on, and head to Weber State for a rematch of a game just played just 3 weeks ago. It's a long-shot odd that we'll see these Griz play in Missoula again this year, and if that's the case I think this was a pretty damn good way to send out this team, with a wild an fun win. GO GRIZ!

I believe from the clip I saw on ESPN those were the Delaware Blue Hens helmets

1st round vs Delaware is correct

Thanks BW! The Griz are right now as good as anyone in the tournament! Yesterday’s effort would have beaten anyone else in the brackets! Yeah, it was against a team that wasn’t the strongest on defense, but still, and incredible game in all facets! There’s talk of the defense not being the strongest, but they made adjustments at halftime, and only gave up 7 points in the second half-against a pretty formidable offense! So fun to watch this team, and the energy they play with! Go Griz!

With how fast Flowers is I am surprised he does not play a little more at WR to stretch the field.

Especially with Akem out the last few weeks! Both Toure and Akem on the field was a match up nightmare for opposing teams. Flowers might not be Akem, but he's a burner I want to see his talents utilized at receiver.

Here’s another stat to chew on. I had to work backwards from the NCAA chart, which includes yesterday’s games. So the former rank numbers are what they would be on the current list.

Through the Villanova game, SLU was averaging 37.3 ppg, placing them at about #9 in Scoring Offense. Despite all the bitching about the D, the Griz held the Lions over 9 points below their season average. They are now #11 on that list. That's a pretty big hit for one game.

FYI: Before the game, the Griz were ranked about #13 in Scoring Offense (35.9 ppg). With their output yesterday, they jumped all the way to #5 (38.8). Pretty cool! :thumb:

this has always been a mystery to me.....it must be his hands, yet he fields kicks in wind etc....the former head coach who recruited him claimed that was in fact what Flowers brought to the table...ability to go over the top and stretch field vertically. ....he still has a couple years left, which is nice...go Griz!

Mariani never really came into his own until he was a junior; underutilized as a soph, so there's still a big upside with Malik as long as he stays away from the portal..

...for a season on the depth chart...
...mariani was behind chambers...
...the most talanted griz ever...

... 8-) ...
