Possible WR transfer from Oregon

I would have to say he might be better than mariani, I have seen him play, he has hands like i have never seen before and he is better sized for the FCS level. that would be great if we got him, im thinking he will head to arizona state or a washington school though.
 
Internet scuttle is that he is looking at WSU (played at Pullman High), Boise and UM.

The griz have 2 advantages... He does not have to sit a year and family. I would say the Griz have a very good chance at getting Aaron.
 
Question is if we really need another scholarship wide receiver. I'd like to see us pick up some depth at other positions. We seem to be really deep at that position. Does anybody really know if we are actually recruiting Aaron or it just speculation because of his connection to the program?

At this point it is not a recruiting situation. He will either come to UM to play or not. Apparently his dad has done numbers to this coaching staff and from what I have heard he has the potential to be a UM head coach down the line. I love the idea of both of them in Missoula for the next few years.

Interesting. I met Robin the summer after he didn't get the head job when both he and Bobby H. applied. He was pretty ticked he didn't get the job and even changed his dogs name because of it (from griz to something like dumb ass). He really wanted that job back then. If what you say is true, he's a great guy and good for you all if you get them both.

My memory has faded a little on this, but I recall hearing from people involved with the last head football coach interviews that Bobby came in very prepared and had a plan that was well articulated. Robin, who was viewed as an early frontrunner for the job, basically bombed in comparison to Bobby. Again, this is based on memory. Maybe someone involved with the interview process can confirm.

The good thing for Robin is if he ends up on the coaching staff then he would have a big leg up on any future openings. I'm also betting he will be an excellent resource for this coaching staff.

It really happened. He must have calmed down after a while and gave the dog it's old name back. btw - I'm going to pass on stalking the daughter's bio to check on your info.

How do you suppose I knew they had a dog named griz? Just a lucky guess? He was still pretty ticked off about not getting picked at the time.

No no...I heard he has a dog named Griz...a beast of an animal. He did however get a kitty that they call Dumb Ass....little skinny thing. :lol:

I would think it would weigh heavily in his decision. Pflugrad may be waiting to see what Roper does.
