They always go worst case scenario....no way it gets that cold!
if you were down there at field level today....you might think otherwise...if that wind picked up and got a little more gusty...and the temps were a little colder like its supposed to be tomorrow with a high of -1 and a low of i think -8....i dunno, you might be right but it was close to unbearable down there at about 1230

I see what you did there. ;)

Just heard the NCAA is consulting with the National Weather Service about whether to cancel the game. True. Supposed to be -38 with wind chill tomorrow.

Interesting conversation?

NCAA: How cold will Missoula be tomorrow?
NWS: The current doppler 99-thousand forecast is for high of 4 degrees.
NCAA: Wow, is it safe to be outside at that temperature?
NWS: No.
NCAA: Will it be too cold for us to secretly track Griz parents and redshirt players through the tailgates to make certain they are not accepting any free hotdogs?
NWS: Do they have free hot chocolate at the tailgates? You should be OK.

looks like it's warming up considerably from the -38 and who knows maybe they are way off and tomorrow will be more like Monday??

if we can avoid a lot of wind it will actually be pretty nice!

I feel the game must be cancelled when all oxygen freezes and falls like snow on the ground. If people suffocate, trust me there will be repercussions. Bank on it.

Really?
Hmmm...accuweather.com states at kickoff it will be 0 but it will feel like 3 with no wind chill.
Not sure where people are getting their info at.

They're getting it from NWS, which is an operation that is employed to scare the shit out of people. The NWS called for winds to blow 30-40 MPH the last two days in Havre, and it's never blown more than 10 MPH with no gusts. The storm on Monday and Tuesday was supposed to dump 18-20 inches on Havre according to the NWS. We got less than a foot.

Check out the NOAA National Weather Service:

Late Afternoon A 20 percent chance of snow. Partly sunny and cold, with a high near 1. Wind chill values as low as -28. Breezy, with an east wind around 24 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph.
Tonight A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around -11. Wind chill values as low as -37. Breezy, with an east southeast wind 24 to 26 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Saturday Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near -1. Wind chill values as low as -34. East southeast wind 12 to 17 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.

Holy SH*T :o

They called for 15.38" here in Billings and we got about 7"...

 Are they canceling games for snow now too!!!

Why isn't anyone complaining about the Carroll game? Oh, that's right. Here in Montana we don't bitch and complain about the small things.
