I am amused at posters here who feel that "putting nothing on film for the Cats to view" is any kind of coaching strategy. I mean, c'mon, Cats have ten games of GRIZ film to dissect at this point of the season. Don't think that Vigen has just nothing to review in preparation for the BIG game. Still, Bobby will have a few wrinkles of his own to spring...maybe. And so will the Cats. GRIZ will still win the showdown in Zoo town next week!
 
Chill out with the doom and gloom. R E L A X. This is the #2 team in the country against the #42,018th team. Weather looks good. The opening line was -34.5 and I fully anticipate the Griz cover. Robbie on the other side doesn't scare me. UM has dudes. PSU doesn't. Robbie can't magically make their players more talented. UM will use this game to lay the groundwork for 11/22. PSU has zero to play for.

Everyone playing UM has something to play for.
 
PSU has had a tough season for sure. Those guys do as much as they can with the hand they are dealt. The early season money games are tough with travel and playing those FBS teams to get a payout. They get a stud player like Wing and he transfers to Montana. Nothing against Wing, I'm glad the Griz have him. All teams lose players to the portal but I think it hurts the lower level teams especially hard.

PSU, like all teams have injuries but don't have as deep of roster to begin with as the stronger Big Sky programs. They do have access to northwest talent though and they like all teams will get up for the Griz. I'm looking forward to driving down to the game and seeing Montana play PSU in the downtown stadium. Glad that they get to use that facility again. Viks will give it their best but I see the Griz rolling in this one.
 
If the coaches purposely go vanilla again, it could be another game that’s tighter than fans would like. But if they take the reins off, the Griz have 40-plus point blowout potential. I think they will start to open the playbook up a bit more getting fine tuned for cat Griz and more than likely smoke the vikings.
 
We'll go up 28-0, take our foot off the gas and the game will end up something like 38-20. Hopefully the coaches realized being up by 3 scores in the 1st Quarter won't prevent a lower tier Big Sky cool keeping it close, so let's try 4 scores.
 
I want to see the Hook and Ladder, the double reverse Wortham pass to Gale, the PAT 2pt attempt with a shovel pass, Wortham jump pass to a TE releasing either down the seam or on a crosser, Tennessee special on KOR, Griz special on offense, and a pressure package on D with three LBs rushing and three DLs dropping into coverage. That last one works every time in Madden.

Agreed - but you forgot running the Globe of Death play.
