Portland State Vikings scouting report

Just a thought, do you think instead of a trap game, the Griz may use this game to prepare against a dynamic running team that PSU seems to be and MSU is? I think if instead of looking ahead to the cats we use this as preparation to ensure our run defense is solidified. If we are able to bottle up PSU rush game, I feel much more confident going into the Bubcats game
Was thinking the same thing. A good game to get our run defense tuned up for an even more powerful run team. Also, hopefully a lead that will allow some opportunity to stay healthy and give some young guys a chance to join in the run defense tune up - - and some experience for the young-uns on offense. Hope it goes they way we want, psu makes me nervous.

Go Griz!

Trap game? Yes. Winnable? certainly.

Look, we are 74-7 in points scored and allowed in the past two games. Griz are improving dramatically at the right time of the season.

31-14 GRIZ.

The last time I predicted a game score was NAU and we all know how that went so I'm not risking it. We should win and I hope we win convincingly.

PSU has a notable and solid run game.
Griz are top 4 in all of FCS in stopping run.

Griz win this by 17 or more.

Griz were also the number one rushing defense in the conference and top 5 FCS last season….if only that would translate to stopping MSUs run game
