What was the rotation? I didn't get to see the game.

Selvig
Cherry
Jamar
Ward
Steward

Deshields---very limited
Hutchison--quite a bit
Stockton--quite a bit
Wiesner --very, very limited

Can't recall if there were any others, but I think this was it. Hutchison played well I thought, Wiesner got about a minute of playing time and got pulled because of defense, I think. Definately a short bench used last night, with Art, Cherry, Selvig and Jamar playing a ton of minutes together.

So 8-9 players. I think that's a decent rotation. Any thoughts???

I think Tinks has bought into this "let's go with 8 players"-type mentality for Conference play. Obviously, each game's unique circumstance may force him to stray from that philosophy, but expect more of the same for the most part.

Jordan Wood and/or Henderson not playing at all was the most surprising. I think they should get a rotation every game. See if they have a hot hand and can provide a spark. I guess that wasn't really needed Wednesday. You know what you're gonna get out of Stocks. Sean has played as well as he is capable of, but he gets way too many minutes for what he brings to the table, IMO. He can't defend anyone one-on-one and makes as many mistakes as he does good plays. To his credit he has made a couple surprisingly nice plays of late, but so would Henderson or DeShields (with more PT). Get a couple hustle minutes out of him, and get the far-more talented players back in there is my wish. When he's out there too long, his (many) weaknesses get exposed. If we are gonna go with 8 players only, he should not be one of the 8, but I don't think this will change.

Weisner did not impress at all and I doubt he will play much once Reader is eligible. Hutch made the most of Reader's absence and looked solid despite not playing much lately. Ward will get the bulk of the minutes until he gets in foul trouble which is a regular occurance. I think he leads the team in fouls. He needs to be extra aggressive to compensate for being a smallish post, so I expect his foul situation to be a year-long concern.
