It be nice to see the performance Cherry is putting on . Thank you so much for the blue pic u of m, or bigsuck.
Cherry IS on fire -- 13 pts at the half. Try the "First Row Sports" at the URL I put above. 43-24 at the half. Griz shooting 58% shooting.

Great half! Cherry is really getting after it tonight, when he is playing like this we are going to be hard to beat. Hopefully they can put together a whole game.

Hmmmmm, so much for two solid halves. Come on, Griz! Finish strong!
Vikings had a hot run there (3-pters falling), but it looks like the Griz have weathered the storm. Nice to see three Griz in double figures for scoring. Not a particularly good night for Selvig: 8 points, only 4 rebounds, and 4 turnovers (fortunately, the Griz don't need him tonight).

Edit: Just noticed their guy Odum as 22 points. Good thing the rest of the team i hitting like that. Oops, 5 fouls on Selvig, and he's out.

Excellent win! Obviously a dominating first half... second half the Vikings made some nice runs, but Montana still kept the lead around double digits. Nice defense down low, I thought Selvig did a nice job on Lozeau, who has been having an excellent year.

Very convincing win and defensive effort, that is a solid offensive team that they bottled up tonight.

They need to play great D again Friday, EWU is having their way with state in bozetown.

Great win, great start to BSC season.

Go Griz! Maul'em!

Best half of shooting I've seen in awhile. Besides the usual suspects playing great I thought Art had a great game and looked to score. His drive and jam in 2 guy's faces was classic. Hutch played great and we will need him. Ward muscled up on D and held his own against some bigger guys. Selvig did hold his ground too and seemed to have some attitude tonight. DeShields played well and it was fun to see Kareem, Cherry and DeShields on the court at the same time. Portland State has some ballers and if they would have had another couple of minutes this could have been theirs. Solid win.

I hope Art gets the green light to drive more often. His whole career at UM has seen him as a great penetrator and finisher. I just wish he would go to the hoop more often. He has great length and can use that when getting to the rim.

Art had a great game, that dunk was sweet, but not as sweet as the ally-oop slam. Griz shot the ball well in the first half. If they can shoot like that and rebound a touch better, they will be tough.

Got some nice baskets off set looks tonight, wish they'd push it a little more though.

Don't know what it is going to take to get some people there....frustrating to see that arena and knowing what it used to be when I first attended games in the early nineties. Gotta get people there to see this program on the rise.
