Nigel Burton was a hell of a player and he is also a damn fine coach. Like him or not we are going to see him outgrow the BSC in a few short years and he will be onto bigger and better things. He will get it done. He doesn't have any hang ups about firing a coordinator whom is not getting it done. Ash and Hauck just cannot seem to do that.

OK. So if a guy finishing his dinner at Applebee's notices on his bill that they only put one beer on his tab when in fact he had two beers and doesn't say anything then goes outside to find his car stolen shouldn't be upset because after all, he stole a beer?

Or do you like to argue for the sake of arguing?
 
Portland State has been coached to be a dirty team for ten years now. I do think Burton is a good coach and I also agree that he is a prick.
 
What happened to this program...late 80s & early 90s PSU was the goods. But if you really need evidence to prove Coach Burton is an idiot I will give you 3 Holmes, Henderson, Wolcott all looked to be PSU bound but made a better decision. We play for championships. Go Griz

Absolutely agree with you. He is a very good coach and at least he has a pair on him. Ash could learn a thing or two from this guy. Their D-Coordinator is so bad. Even the Drake coach called them "fundamental" but easy to game plan against. If Burton is purposefully trying to hurt our guys, however, he can lick my chode.....then kiss his wife.

he may or not be a good coach. hasn't really wowed me in any way. i have seen some of his in-game practices that i haven't cared for. he'll throw a rs frosh in a game simply for the purpose of taking out an opponent. i have seen this firsthand and talked to players who said there was little doubt psu guys were trying to injure them.

so if that is something ash "just doesn't get" i'm fine with that.

there isn't a coach in the big sky more unliked. and it obviously isn't because of his winning ways.... :lol:

:thumb: I'm really disappointed that the last time PSU played here in Missoula one of our O'Linemen didn't accidentally run him over. Campbell was terrorizing every team that we played that year, and I have to think that he was getting some NFL interest. Then this dickwad of a coach goes and pulls something like that which ends his career.
