Agreed. My guess is, if they did, the pollsters would bump either NAU or Portland State -- rather than give the Big Sky five teams in the top-25.

Pollsters, for some odd reason, NEVER like Cal Poly. Ever.

Cal poly should start to get some love. Close loss to a BCS team, and they just beat a to 10 FCS team.

I agree totally, not sure why they aren't higher. I think that EWU should be in that #2-4 slot somewhere, we're probably around #10 somewhere, and Poly is pretty close to us. If(big if) we beat Poly this weekend we should be in the top 10, probably closer to #5. Poly is going to be really tough, they are very good in all 3 phases.

Everytime I think I've read the strangest post on the inter-web I see something like this. So if we beat Poly and go to 3-0 "we should be in the top 10, probably closer to #5" . We are currently 7th not counting some movement from Richmond getting thumped. So if we beat an unranked team we should move up from 7th or 6th to closer to #5? So from 7th 5.5th? #legalizeitsoon

Sorry for the confusion, I'm not sure we should be in the top 10 now, need a few more games. If we beat Poly(who I feel should be ranked fairly close to us). Poly beat a good team on the road, we have also. Poly should have beat Nevada on the road. Let's see what happens this weekend.

Hmmm. Yes, #24 in my projection. They had a pretty dominant win over Holy Cross (45-28), so they could move up maybe a couple more spots. Trouble is, Holy Cross doesn't look too strong this year, so that might not impress.

I think that EWU will leapfrog us, and they deserve it. Cal Poly belongs in the top 25 easy. I was kind of shocked they started so low in the first place. They always are competitive. Whoever wins this weekend Griz or Poly is going to get some loving in the polls
