With three losses among the top ten, and seven among all the ranked teams, the next poll should show some major changes. As general rule, especially at this stage of the season, losses drop a ranked team about five slots -- which is what my guesses do. With so many teams falling, the list has some oddities -- Towson (6-4) in particular. They are currently on a winning streak, which has pushed them up the ranking. Personally, I do not think they deserve to be that high, but my guess is: they will.
I think Cal Poly, with only two losses could, and should, move up more. However, the pollsters have not really given CP much credit in the past, so I’m guessing that will not happen.
