Cancellation of play up games were a kick in the teeth.
Plan A is to play this fall. Plan B is to play in the spring. March and April conference season, and FCS championship game on Memorial Weekend.
70-75% of football or athletic funding comes from the institutions. Only UM and MSU drive alot of ticket/game revenue. for most big sky schools.
A spring season for all college football could possibly get non-conference and/or money games back on the table.
End of month decision time.
Season in the fall could be delayed a weeks.
I'd love to hear what coaches and players think about a spring season. I assume if it's spring or nothing everyone will want spring. But if everyone could remain eligible next year, I wonder how many would prefer just not playing at all this year and getting back to it in 2021?
2020 sucks.
