Android Pluto app to my Samsung phone and then "screen mirroring" to the Samsung TV. Didn't search for the Pluto Samsung Smart TV app. Maybe I'll look for that at halftime
THanks for all the assists, folks. I gave up, and am watching it on my Kindle. Good picture, except for the couple times it has locked up. Don't really like the on-screen stuff, with nothing about downs, yards-to-go, etc.
I'm not sure what the problems are. All I can say is get all of your updates. I am streaming the game on my PS3 and am doing fine. Audio is good, i'm seeing the down and distance, quarter and time, timeouts available. All seems normal to me. Other than it pausing at times. I think it does this during commercial breaks in leu of actual commercials.
Roku viewer here. Saw every single snap and had the joy of not having to watch commercials at the break. Honestlt, srpend 80 bucks for the next generation of streaming device and it is awesome
All you really need to do is plug the HDMI from your laptop to the TV.
Pretty frickin simple.
Even for the extremely tech-challenged, if you have a cable/satellite receiver, just pull the HDMI cable from the receiver and bang it into the laptop output. You don't even have to change inputs on the TV. No need to mess around installing casting apps and devices if you have a laptop/TV w HDMI in/out.
Worked great for me and none of the Chromecast glitches...
