Please, No Bobby

1 lost conference game over the spam of his last 4 years. 3 trips to the natty. Hard to argue with the results on the field. With all of the new disciplinary measures in effect there is probably a system in place to help keep issues from snowballing into bigger ones too.

If you could mix together some of the current staff with Bobby's guys... We could have one of the better staffs in the Big Sky, if not the best.

From a pure football stand point, bringing back BH or Pflu would get the Griz back to national prominence the quickest IMO. But it's probably just a Pipe Dream.....

If he left trouble behind at Montana, why wasn't any of the trouble found with the NCAA investigation? Hell they came up with illegal hot dog benefits, how could they not come up with more in Hauck's time here? If Hauck did leave trouble behind and there is more to what we already know, someone please show me/us this. Show me the evidence and the prove of these troubles, then I will believe these things.
I think he's talking about the bunch of players that broke into the house, robbed it and stuck guns in the peoples faces.

The guy whose money was taken was a drug dealer. No guns were stuck in anyone's face. One guy had a taser. The players were dumbasses. Not one of them played another down for UM after UM learned of this. Were immediately kicked off the team.

Not one thing that involved Hauck came up in the ncaa investigation. Actually, not much at all came up in the ncaa investigation.
You lying sack of crap PR. A couple of those pricks had guns.

Freeman allegedly Tasered the primary resident in his torso with a stun gun while "Dirty" used the butt of a .22-caliber pistol to beat the victim's head more than a dozen times. Another man carried a Tech 9 semiautomatic machine gun with a "clip curving out of it," the woman told police.

What about the Hauck choir boys that were involved in this?

The article and allegations about the burglary incident weren't accurate, is what I was told. Also, Dirty wasn't a football player.

Only one former player was involved in the second incident. Tim Parks not involved. The next day Parks either drove some people somewhere or his car was used to drive some of the people. Don't think he got into any trouble.

Nice try, but perhaps you should use accurate information before you call people liars.

Notwithstanding that the bold above is a list of allegations, I still fail to see where a gun was pointed at someone's face. I don't have any knowledge of the incident, just thought I would point it out.

OK you got me. I am sure as he beat the person over a dozen times with it that he kept it pointed in a safe direction the whole time.

I think, like others, that if BH were to come back and retain some of the coaches already on staff that he would be a fantastic hire. That is, if RE would ever allow it to happen, which im not sure about. How can you forget the fantastic run he had here along with some of the players he brought in and developed? Cole Berquist, Andrew Selle, Marc Mariani, Chase Reynolds, Andrew Selle, Thomas Brooks Fletcher, JD Quinn, Carson Bender, Cody Balogh, Jabin Sambrano, Ryan Bagley, Colt Anderson, Kroy Biermann, Trumaine Johnson, Stephen Phaeler, Mike Ferriter, the Lebsocks, Eric Stoll, Kieth Thompson, Eric Allen, THE Lex Hilliard, Dan Carpenter, Reggie Bradshaw, Jimmy Wilson, Bryan Waldhouser, Dan Beaudin, Ryan Fetherston, Caleb Mcsurdy, Peter Nguyn, Shann Shillinger, Jordan Tripp, Brock Coyl, Levi Horn, ALL were recruited and initially developed by Bobby Haucks staff! He had 3 trips to the national title game and 1 to the semi-final, was 80-17 in his time here, and would be at or near the top of my list of candidates. I guess we'll see what happen soon enough. GO GRIZ!!! GET AN EAGLE!!!!!

JD Quinn and Eric Allen were transfers weren't they?

Edit: so was Sambrano

Bobby still brought them in. :thumb:
Exactly, still brought in by Bobby Hauck. I don't know if it will happen or not. I just don't understand all the hatred for Bobby Hauck. He did a fantastic job here, and even after a 2 win season at UNLV, about half of their online fan base still consider him to be maybe the best coach they've had in 20 or more years, and attribute the schools lack of success on the facilities, town and leadership at the top rather than on BH...That alone speaks volumes....Can you imagine a 2 win Griz team and the flack a Griz coach would take? He'd probably be fired, rather than given a contract extension!

I'm a stickler for accuracy, especially in these circumstances.
