This is the most baffling part of Bobby Ball to me. Gillman had 37 less rushing attempts this season. (3 less games but still) He had 100 less attempts than Lan Larison at UC Davis. He didn't have more than 15 rushes in a single game until last week. We're in the first quarter of a playoff game against the two time defending champions and the entire second drive Eli Gillman is watching from the sidelines. What the hell are you saving him for Bobby? The team he's going to portal to? This dude is a generational talent and was completely forgotten about this season.

There's so many more examples. It's like he's hell bent on spreading the ball around instead of just spamming plays to our best players until it stops working.

To be fair they have a really dominant rush defense. To have a prayer in this game we needed to sling it and get Harris and Bergum the touches.
